Rachel holds an LLB and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Cape Town. She completed her articles at Von Lieres, Cooper & Barlow and was later retained as a junior litigation associate, managing a large and fast-moving caseload.

Working across a wide range of matters taught Rachel how to think critically, stay organised under pressure, and quickly identify what matters most. Those skills now shape her approach at Radiant, where she helps clients navigate complex legal work with clarity, structure, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Radiant’s non-traditional structure and commitment to doing things better is what drew Rachel in. She enjoys being part of a team that embraces innovation, challenges old ways of working, and looks for smarter ways to deliver legal services.

I was drawn to Radiant’s culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The emphasis on building efficient systems while investing in people reflects an understanding that the best legal outcomes come from teams that are empowered, curious, and open to change.

Outside of work, Rachel loves reading, cooking, exploring new restaurants, staying active, and following Formula 1. She is always planning her next trip, whether that means travelling abroad or discovering a new corner of South Africa.
