
Nelisile holds an LLB from the University of the Western Cape and is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Law, specialising in Commercial and Business Law, at the University of the Witwatersrand. An admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, she has built her career across private practice and an in-house legal team, with experience spanning infrastructure, renewable energy, public-sector procurement and pharmaceuticals. She brings experience in commercial contracting, legal research, due diligence, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Her work has included drafting, reviewing and negotiating supply, distribution, confidentiality and power purchase agreements. As the youngest and only candidate attorney selected to provide legal support for the City of Cape Town’s permanent seawater desalination project, she contributed to complex legal and procurement workstreams involving multiple disciplines and stakeholders. She also worked on the evaluation of bid submissions under REIPPPP Bid Windows 6 and 7. Nelisile was drawn to Radiant’s practical approach to commercial legal work and its commitment to improving how legal services are delivered. She values the firm’s emphasis on collaboration, continuous improvement and technology that supports sound legal judgement. Thorough, organised and commercially minded, she enjoys turning dense legal questions into clear advice that helps clients move forward. Outside of work, Nelisile enjoys horse riding, tennis, reading and long walks. She is also a devoted dog lover and has a strong commitment to community service. A former Rotary Club member, she received its Service Above Self Award in recognition of her contribution.
