Josh holds a BA (Law) and LLB from Stellenbosch University. He began his legal career advising community schemes on governance and conduct rules before completing his articles at a boutique firm, where he worked across litigation, contract matters, evictions, debt collection, estates, and family and maintenance disputes.

That range of work taught Josh how to move between detail and context. He has worked on everything from day-to-day litigation to high-impact matters, including a successful appeal to the Full Bench that helped shape a key precedent on lifelong maintenance under the Divorce Act. The experience sharpened his judgement, strengthened his drafting, and taught him how to stay practical when the legal and human issues are complex.

At Radiant, Josh brings that same clear-headed approach to commercial contracting. He enjoys untangling difficult issues, asking the right questions, and helping clients reach outcomes that are precise, practical, and easier to act on.

Outside of work, Josh trains regularly for CrossFit and Hyrox, keeps up a strong running routine, and is a loyal rugby fan. He also loves cinema and is building a scary movie review website with his brother, because life is too short not to chase the things that excite you.
