Niëline holds a BCom Law and an LLB from Stellenbosch University. She completed her articles at a medium-sized law firm in Paarl, where she gained exposure to a broad range of legal matters and regularly represented clients in court. That foundation helped her recognise that she was most interested in working closely with businesses, leading her to an in-house legal role at international dairy company Lactalis South Africa.

In-house, Niëline focused on contract management, corporate governance and advising the business on commercial risk. She has experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, supporting governance and compliance matters, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure that contracts and processes align with business objectives.

Niëline was drawn to Radiant’s genuine drive to do things better and its willingness to challenge traditional ways of using legal knowledge. She values the firm’s focus on both the client and employee experience, as well as its openness to fresh ideas and continuous improvement. Naturally organised and relationship-focused, she enjoys creating efficient processes, planning ahead and keeping work on track.

Outside of work, Niëline enjoys spending time outdoors and making the most of nature. She is also training to become a Pilates instructor, an experience she finds both exciting and challenging.
