Kelly holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cape Town. She started her legal career as a Student Legal Advisor at the UCT Law Clinic before beginning her articles at De Abreu & Cohen Inc. in 2023. A few months later, she became one of the founding team members at De Abreu Essop Inc., helping build the firm from day one. She completed her articles there, stayed on as a junior associate, and was admitted as an attorney in April 2025.

Her background spans High Court and Magistrate’s Court litigation, commercial and contract work, and a healthy mix of property and family law. Kelly is naturally detail focused and has a strong feel for how agreements work in practice. She enjoys the problem solving that comes with commercial work and brings a steady, adaptable mindset to fast paced environments.

At Radiant, Kelly is excited to practise law in a way that feels modern and meaningful. She loves the firm’s energy, its bold approach, and the chance to work with technology that actually makes legal work smarter.
