Lize-Mari holds an LLB and was admitted as an attorney in 2024. She began her career as in-house legal counsel for a mining company in Sandton, where she led its legal and compliance functions. She later moved into the medical-device industry as a legal adviser, combining commercial legal strategy with specialised regulatory and compliance work.

She brings extensive experience in drafting and negotiating high-value commercial agreements, including service level agreements, vendor and procurement contracts, non-disclosure agreements, master services agreements, and distribution and licensing arrangements. Her approach balances commercial momentum with careful risk management, particularly in areas such as intellectual property and liability. She also has experience building practical compliance frameworks and removing operational friction.

Lize-Mari was drawn to Radiant’s focus on technology, lean processes and continuous improvement. She believes legal teams should be commercial enablers rather than bottlenecks and is excited to help businesses move forward through clear communication, smart systems and pragmatic contracting. Her process-driven mindset and commitment to solving operational challenges align closely with Radiant’s approach.

Outside of work, Lize-Mari enjoys hiking, running and exploring new places. She is also passionate about learning languages, which gives her a fresh way to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
