AI Product Manager

We are recruiting an AI Product Manager to drive our fast-evolving AI capability and help Radiant Law continue defining a tech-enabled future for legal services. 

This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of legal services delivery who is excited by the practical application of AI and technology in an Alternative Legal Services Provider (ALSP) environment. You may come from a legal background with a strong technology focus, or from a product or technology background with significant exposure to legal operations and legal service delivery. 

‍What you’ll get to do
‍This is a pivotal role bridging legal delivery, technology and business strategy. You’ll own our AI roadmap, and lead the adoption of AI-enabled solutions, helping us improve quality, efficiency and client outcomes. A key part of the role will involve identifying high-value use cases for AI within legal workflows and determining the best way to solve them - through GenAI, bespoke development, third-party tooling, or other emerging AI platforms.  

You’ll work closely with our legal delivery teams, software developers, AI engineers and clients to: 

- Lead experimentation, prototyping and proof-of-concept initiatives to test and validate AI-driven solutions.
- Drive adoption of AI tools in day-to-day legal workflows.
- Define success metrics and use data to measure adoption, efficiency gains, quality improvements and client value.
- Ensure AI solutions align with client requirements, data security obligations, confidentiality standards and regulatory expectations.
- Stay informed on developments in legal AI, legal technology and professional services innovation, bringing forward practical ideas and recommendations.
- Contribute to internal training, knowledge-sharing and capability-building initiatives across the business.

What we’re looking for
‍You should:
- Be based in Johannesburg or Cape Town.
- Have experience working in legal services, legal operations, legal technology, product management, or a closely related field.
- Have a strong understanding of how legal work is delivered within a law firm, in-house legal team or ALSP environment.
- Have meaningful hands-on experience working with GenAI tools, AI-enabled workflows, automation technologies, and legal technology platforms.
- Be comfortable translating between legal, operational and technical stakeholders.
- Have strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a natural drive to improve how things are done.
